Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and storage solutions. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into reliable, actionable insights for business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process data from multiple SQL sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to detect and resolve anomalies and errors.
• Develop and maintain data management assets such as data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and documentation.
• Plan, deploy, and maintain ETL pipelines (Python/NodeJS) on Linux servers, moving data from MySQL/PostgreSQL to target systems.
• Design data architectures, databases, and processing systems for both structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct data profiling, analysis, and validation to uncover patterns, trends, and issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specifications, data models, and visualization dashboards.

Required profile

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Excel, or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Superset, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and relational database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication with a customer‑service mindset.
