DDC Controller – Building Automation & HVAC

About the role

The DDC Controller will be responsible for overseeing Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems that manage building automation and HVAC equipment at PAEC’s facilities in Dera Ismail Khan. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that climate‑control and related systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor DDC dashboards, interpret performance data, and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Adjust control parameters and settings to optimise system efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs, prepare basic performance reports, and support preventive‑maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors and technical staff to continuously improve facility operations.

Required profile

• Demonstrated knowledge of building automation or Direct Digital Control systems, especially for HVAC.
• Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems in industrial or institutional facilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork with engineering, maintenance, and supervisory staff.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a structured, regulated environment and follow shift schedules as needed.
• Technical diploma or degree in engineering, electronics, HVAC technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in facility operations, industrial controls, or a similar technical role is an advantage.
