Department Manager - Security & Safety

About the role

We are seeking a Department Manager for Security & Safety to lead and enhance our organization’s security framework. The role involves overseeing security policies, ensuring compliance, and protecting assets across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain organization-wide security policies and procedures.
• Monitor internal control systems to ensure appropriate security clearances.
• Develop and execute local security programs aligned with corporate standards and local legal requirements.
• Continuously improve security measures to prevent shoplifting, theft, burglary, fraud and other criminal activities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with local police and law‑enforcement agencies.
• Prepare and achieve annual security business plans.
• Lead the deployment of processes and systems that mitigate security risks.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security rules, standards, guidelines and governmental regulations.
• Handle security‑related enquiries and resolve issues.
• Monitor health and safety procedures within the premises and ensure SOP compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or intermediate qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in security management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of security policies, risk mitigation and legal requirements.
• Proven ability to work with law‑enforcement agencies and internal stakeholders.
