Deputy Manager Compliance

About the role

The Deputy Manager Compliance is responsible for revenue assurance and compliance of commercial distribution operations in one of the clusters. The role applies the compliance framework on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to identify, investigate and report risks, policy deviations, regulatory non-compliance, control weaknesses and revenue leakages. It also ensures timely resolution of errors and discrepancies, formulates SAP-based controls and helps resolve Internal Audit queries.

Key responsibilities

• Review processes and controls related to commercial operations and highlight deviations from policies, procedures and regulations.
• Perform routine billing analysis (cycle day-wise), including target testing of billing transactions against pre-defined criteria.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly discrepancy reports and share them with the Cluster and IBC heads.
• Prioritise issues, meet with internal stakeholders to discuss discrepancies and follow up on resolutions, including those raised by Internal Audit.
• Hold brainstorming sessions to suggest system controls and amendments to policies and SOPs that mitigate key risks.
• Perform quantum analysis and forecast the impact of changes, and carry out special tasks and feasibility reports as required by management.
• Manage compliance field officers and their administrative issues.

Required profile

• Professional Accountant or MBA qualification.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of the risk-based audit approach, financial analysis and reporting, and financial and business acumen.
• Strong stakeholder management.
