Deputy Manager - Formulation

About the role

NovaMed Group of Companies, a manufacturer of high-quality generic medicines committed to CGMP and international quality standards, is hiring a Deputy Manager - Formulation. The role supports the design, development and optimisation of product formulations, working closely with quality, production and regulatory affairs teams. It covers formulation trials, data analysis, technical documentation and troubleshooting of formulation issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support new product and new formulation development activities
• Plan, execute and monitor formulation development and scale-up activities
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, cGMP and regulatory guidelines
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production and Regulatory Affairs on development projects
• Maintain accurate formulation reports, records and technical documentation
• Contribute to stability study documentation, material specifications and validation activities

Required profile

• Pharm-D degree from an HEC-recognised university
• 8-12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Proven hands-on expertise in New Product Development (NPD) and New Formulation Development (NFD)
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, solve complex problems and drive product development initiatives
