Electrical Engineer - Analytical Instruments

About the role

Latif Brothers (Instruments) is looking for an Electrical Engineer specializing in analytical instruments in Lahore. The engineer applies knowledge of electrical circuit analysis and fault diagnosis to ensure the proper installation, servicing and support of analytical electrical instruments, working with colleagues to troubleshoot and optimise electrical and electronic systems. The role does not involve managing a team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical circuit analysis and short-circuit analysis to evaluate system performance and safety.
• Install, service and maintain electrical instruments and analytical products in line with company and safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical and electronic systems and implement corrective measures promptly.
• Test and calibrate analytical electrical devices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with product development teams on design improvements and technical documentation.
• Maintain electrical system integrity during installation and maintenance and keep detailed records of maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure work complies with electrical codes, standards and regulatory requirements, and support customer queries on electrical products and systems when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or an MS in Applied Physics.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practical experience with electrical testing and repair techniques for analytical instruments.
• Excellent independent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
