Deputy Manager Garment Dyeing

About the role

Masood Textile Mills Limited, a vertically integrated textile manufacturer in Faisalabad, Pakistan, is hiring a full-time, on-site Deputy Manager Garment Dyeing. The role oversees daily garment dyeing operations, including production scheduling, resource allocation and workflow monitoring to meet quality, cost and delivery targets. It supervises dyeing teams, ensures correct shade matching and bulk approval, and works with quality, maintenance and production departments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan production schedules, allocate resources and monitor workflow to meet quality, cost and delivery targets
• Supervise dyeing teams and ensure correct shade matching and bulk approval
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance and production departments to resolve technical issues
• Monitor chemical and utility consumption and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Maintain process documentation and reports
• Drive continuous process improvement, train line staff and support senior management in adopting new technologies and best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field; a relevant diploma with strong experience may be considered
• Several years of practical experience in garment dyeing, preferably in a supervisory or assistant managerial role
• Ability to supervise teams, assign tasks, monitor performance and foster a safe, collaborative culture
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of garment dyeing processes, dyes and chemicals, shade development and fabric behavior
• Production planning, workflow management and quality control, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions for dyeing defects and reworks
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental regulations in industrial dyeing
• Data recording and reporting, including Microsoft Office and basic production management systems
