Deputy Managing Director & Finance Director (Contract) – Karachi

About the role

The Sindh Education Foundation is seeking two senior leaders on a contract basis: a Deputy Managing Director to oversee all departments, the secretariat, and board functions, and a Director of Finance, Audit and Accounts to manage the foundation’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deputy Managing Director: lead all foundation departments, manage the secretariat, coordinate board and executive committee business, drive monitoring and evaluation, and guide digital transformation.
• Director (Finance, Audit and Accounts): supervise day‑to‑day accounting, prepare financial reports, lead budgeting and cash‑flow forecasting, ensure internal controls, manage audits, tax compliance and bank relationships.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Management or Finance (MBA/MPA/CA/ACCA/ACMA/M.Com acceptable).
• Minimum 20 years public‑sector experience, including at least 10 years in senior management.
• For civil‑servants, BS‑19/20 (DM) or BS‑18/19 (Finance) with a valid NOC.
• Age between 45 and 62 years.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
