DevOps Engineer - Azure & SaaS Platform

About the role

Frontline is looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong, hands-on experience managing modern cloud infrastructure across the full stack, from Azure networking and routing to server operations, application hosting and platform performance. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers and meaningful ownership of infrastructure design, reliability and optimization, helping shape how systems are deployed, scaled and monitored.

Key responsibilities

• Build, operate and scale the infrastructure behind the SaaS platform, owning deployment, monitoring and recovery across applications, infrastructure and database layers.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frequent, reliable releases across multiple services and environments.
• Manage and optimize Azure compute, networking and storage, focusing on reliability, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Support and improve IIS-hosted applications and MSSQL databases, ensuring smooth deployments, high availability and strong runtime performance.
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems so teams can quickly diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Work with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and strengthen system reliability.
• Contribute to security practices, backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, including compute, networking, load balancing and production storage.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting IIS-hosted applications, including deployments, configuration and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including DACPAC deployments, performance and backup and recovery.
• Familiarity with Azure AD, SSO, cloud security best practices and designing for high availability and disaster recovery.
