DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Automation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and cloud‑native deployment processes. The role will focus on delivering secure, scalable and reliable software delivery across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible to provision and configure infrastructure.
• Develop and manage release automation processes to ensure repeatable deployments.
• Apply GitOps practices with tools such as Argo CD across multiple environments.
• Integrate code quality, security scanning and testing into pipelines (e.g., SonarQube).
• Collaborate with Development, Platform Engineering, QA and Security teams to streamline delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise build, deployment and release workflows.
• Automate operational tasks using Bash, PowerShell or Python scripts.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks and ensure platform security, scalability and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–12+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation or cloud engineering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design (GitLab or Jenkins).
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform or Ansible.
• GitOps tools – Argo CD (or similar).
• Code quality – SonarQube.
• Containerisation – Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting – Bash, PowerShell, Python.
• Version control – Git.
• Cloud platforms – AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Package management – Helm or Kustomize.
• Observability – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
• Secrets management – HashiCorp Vault.
