DevOps Engineer

About the role

Nisum Technologies Inc. is looking for a technically strong DevOps Engineer to drive automation, manage cloud migrations and ensure the reliability and scalability of its Azure Kubernetes environments. The role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage DevOps practices to improve development, deployment, and operational efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable software delivery.
• Automate operational processes in line with industry best practices.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
• Support migration from PCF to AKS, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
• Provide technical guidance and post‑deployment support.
• Set up system monitoring, alerting, and reporting frameworks.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions for improved reliability and uptime.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem‑solving, collaboration and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Jenkins (CI/CD)
• Terraform (IaC)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Bash and Python scripting
• SQL, Cosmos DB, Kafka
• Experience migrating applications from PCF to AKS
• Familiarity with GCP and AWS (preferred)
