Digital Sales Engineer

About the role

The Digital Sales Engineer drives the sales of Octopus Digital's industrial digital transformation and enterprise software solutions in Pakistan. The role blends technical expertise with consultative selling to deliver tailored solutions to industrial and enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of digital transformation solutions, including automation, IoT and enterprise software.
• Work with clients to understand their technical needs and design customised solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and proposals.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, such as product configuration and integration guidance.
• Maintain client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies and the competitive landscape.

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in digital solutions, industrial automation or enterprise software sales.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT or a related field.
• Proven track record in consultative or solution-based sales.
• Strong technical understanding of industrial digital transformation solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to work independently and manage several client engagements.
