Management Trainee Officer - Retail Sales

About the role

Interwood, a furniture and lifestyle brand, is hiring a Management Trainee Officer (MTO) for its Retail Sales department in Islamabad / Rawalpindi. The trainee learns retail processes, sales techniques and customer engagement within a structured on-the-job programme.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer needs, recommend suitable furniture and interior solutions and deliver an exceptional in-store experience
• Identify sales opportunities, convert walk-in customers into buyers and help meet showroom sales targets
• Build a strong knowledge of the product range, materials, designs, features and value propositions
• Understand sales performance, customer conversion, average transaction value and other retail business metrics
• Build lasting customer relationships through communication, follow-ups and professional service
• Learn retail processes, visual merchandising standards, inventory coordination and showroom management
• Take part in structured on-the-job training, product learning and sales development initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related discipline
• Fresh graduate or candidate with internship experience
• Genuine interest in sales, retail, customer engagement and business development
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proactive attitude, confidence, results-oriented mindset and leadership potential
