Digital Systems IS Auditor

About the role

The Digital Systems IS Auditor will lead independent audits of Bank Alfalah’s core digital and supporting systems. The role ensures that information system assets are protected, data integrity is maintained, and operations align with regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute technology audit engagements in line with the annual audit plan.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of financial, operational, and regulatory controls, focusing on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Maintain comprehensive working papers and audit evidence in accordance with internal policies, IAS, IFAC, and ISACA standards.
• Produce high‑quality audit reports that provide reasonable assurance on compliance with SBP regulations, IT standards, and bank policies.
• Guide and train audit team members, ensuring alignment with the department’s strategy and goals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, aiming at cost reduction and productivity gains.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification); relevant certifications are a plus.
• 3‑4 years of experience for IS Auditor positions or 4‑5 years for Senior IS Auditor roles in technology audit.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan and overseas regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, drafting, and communication skills.
• Self‑driven, result‑focused, with effective planning, time‑management, decision‑making, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
