Director of Operations

About the role

SwiftNine is seeking a Director of Operations to build operating discipline, management systems, and accountability across its fast‑growing portfolio of technology, payments, e‑commerce, marketing, professional services and digital product businesses. Reporting directly to the COO, you will transform strategic decisions into executable plans and ensure every department delivers faster, more consistently, and at a higher standard.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a company‑wide operating framework covering annual/quarterly priorities, departmental objectives, weekly execution plans, performance dashboards, leadership reviews, decision tracking and escalation procedures.
• Partner with heads of sales, marketing, technology, product, design, finance, HR, legal, client delivery and other functions to set clear KPIs, review performance, challenge weak plans and enforce corrective actions.
• Diagnose and eliminate operational bottlenecks such as approval delays, unclear ownership, resource conflicts, poor communication, and cross‑department dependencies to accelerate execution speed.
• Coordinate major cross‑functional initiatives, ensure accountability mechanisms are in place, and provide leadership with accurate visibility into company performance.
• Document, enforce and continuously improve core processes, ensuring they are followed and refined over time.

Required profile

• Proven experience building operating systems and driving execution in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
• Ability to hold senior managers accountable without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on identifying and resolving operational problems early.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional leaders and translating strategic goals into measurable actions.
• Results‑oriented, execution‑driven attitude with a track record of improving departmental performance.
