District Council Faisalabad Drivers & Sewermen (Temporary Daily Wage)

About the role

The District Council Faisalabad is hiring 40 temporary staff on a work‑charge/daily‑wage basis to support its Local Government and Community Development Department. Positions include Heavy‑Truck Drivers, Light‑Truck Drivers, and Sewermen. Appointments are short‑term, with possible extensions based on performance and departmental needs.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy‑truck (HTV) or light‑truck (LTV) vehicles safely to transport goods and personnel.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, fuel management, and basic maintenance.
• Execute sewing and related manual tasks as required for departmental projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper use of equipment.
• Comply with health, safety, and government regulations during all duties.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle category (HTV or LTV) for driver positions.
• Physical fitness and good health.
• Punjab domicile, with preference for residents of District Faisalabad.
• Prior experience in driving or sewing is preferred.
• Attested copies of CNIC, educational/experience certificates, and passport‑size photographs.
