Electrical Engineer – Hybrid (Lahore)

About the role

This full‑time hybrid position based in Lahore supports the design, analysis and review of electrical systems for building, industrial and infrastructure projects. The role combines office‑based design work with occasional site visits to verify installations and assist with testing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics and documentation in coordination with senior engineers and project managers.
• Perform electrical calculations, load analysis and equipment selection ensuring compliance with codes, standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, respond to technical queries and contribute to reports, specifications and bills of quantities.
• Participate in site visits for installation verification, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundation in electrical principles and core engineering concepts.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards and ability to apply them in practical design work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working independently and within a multi‑disciplinary hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in electrical design for building, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of power generation systems and their integration with distribution and protection schemes.
• Experience with electrical equipment selection, specification and vendor coordination.
• Ability to use engineering and drafting tools such as AutoCAD or Revit and basic electrical calculation software.
