Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join a global engineering services leader on a contract basis. This remote position involves overseeing electrical system installations, upgrades, and field operations across multiple industrial and commercial sites while ensuring strict safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections and diagnostics to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies in electrical systems.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute field upgrades or repairs.
• Maintain adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations during all activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
