Electrical Systems Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join a leading engineering services firm on a contract basis. This remote position supports field operations across multiple sites, ensuring electrical installations meet safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements during all field activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial settings using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Required skills

• Electrical system diagnostics
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations
• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers
