Emerging Talent Fellowship – Business Security (Technology Division)

About the role

The Emerging Talent Fellowship is a three‑month, project‑based internship in the Technology Division, based on‑site in Islamabad. Fellows work on real business security projects, gaining hands‑on experience in enterprise information security and mentorship from senior professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, alerts and incident queues to identify potential threats.
• Assist with vulnerability management, remediation follow‑ups and access reviews.
• Support risk assessments, security reviews, and control testing.
• Maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in awareness initiatives and promote cybersecurity best practices.
• Prepare reports, trackers and documentation for ongoing security initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to six months of relevant internship/project experience.
• Academic projects or certifications in security are a plus.

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats and controls.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and operating system security.
• Basic skills in threat monitoring and vulnerability management.
