Employee Relations Officer

About the role

The Employee Relations Officer will oversee the organization’s disciplinary processes, ensuring they align with internal HR policies, labor legislation and regulatory requirements. This role involves handling misconduct cases, conducting investigations and maintaining accurate records to support fair and consistent outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage disciplinary cases, including misconduct, policy violations and employee grievances.
• Issue warning letters, show‑cause notices and other disciplinary communications after obtaining necessary approvals.
• Conduct preliminary investigations, gather evidence and prepare detailed investigation reports.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, national labor laws and relevant regulatory bodies such as the State Bank of Pakistan.
• Maintain confidential case documentation, track progress and generate regular reports on employee relations matters.
• Assist HR in resolving workplace conflicts while upholding fair disciplinary practices.
• Coordinate with the DAC Committee, Legal and Audit teams and support hearings or inquiry proceedings as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in employee relations, HR operations or disciplinary case handling.
• Prior experience in the banking or micro‑finance sector is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
