Energy Engineer – Energy Auditing & Optimization

About the role

We are seeking an Energy Engineer to conduct ASHRAE Level I & II energy audits for industrial and commercial facilities. The role involves on‑site surveys, data collection, and delivering actionable recommendations to improve energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive energy audits of HVAC, chillers, motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, steam networks and lighting systems.
• Collect field measurements, conduct thermographic inspections, and detect compressed‑air leaks using ultrasonic equipment.
• Assess chiller performance, calculate COP, evaluate motor efficiency with Fluke instruments, and audit steam traps.
• Prepare technical audit reports, cost‑benefit analyses and energy‑saving recommendations using RETScreen.
• Support proposal development and client engagement to generate consulting revenue.
• Maintain HSE compliance and ensure safe, tidy work environments during site visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) and/or Master’s degree.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in energy auditing or related field.
• Training in ASHRAE Level I & II energy audits.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chillers, motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, steam and lighting systems.
