Engineering Manager (Hybrid, Lahore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in Lahore. The role combines strong technical understanding with strategic oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, with clear visibility and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project progress through structured tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify growth opportunities.
• Identify bottlenecks and delivery risks and help teams resolve them efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including PMs, designers, and external stakeholders to define scope, technical approach, and resource allocation.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve execution across multiple large‑scale initiatives using engineering metrics.
• Use data to drive decisions, measure performance, and support continuous improvement.
• Facilitate progress review meetings, ensuring visibility and accountability for deliverables.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential application within the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry with proven engineering leadership.
• Passion for mentoring and developing talent in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycles and project management best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to align multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive, outcome‑focused mindset.
