About the role

Hamdard Pakistan is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join its development team in Karachi. This entry‑level position is ideal for fresh graduates or final‑year students with up to two years of experience who are eager to grow their software development skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications with clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Integrate REST APIs and databases such as MySQL or SQL Server.
• Follow company coding standards, version‑control protocols, and SDLC processes.
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks.
• Contribute ideas to improve existing software and workflows.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience or recent graduate in a related field.
• Foundational understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as PHP or Laravel.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Laravel, React, or Angular.
• Understanding of REST APIs and database concepts.
