Ethical Trade Executive, Monitoring

About the role

The Ethical Trade Executive, Monitoring will lead and enforce Primark's due‑diligence standards across its supply chain in Pakistan. You will drive impact through structured programmes, partnerships and interventions that protect human rights and promote sustainable labour practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Primark’s Ethical Audit Operation Strategy, including audits, visits, investigations, community surveys, shadow audits, reporting and CAP submissions for suppliers and factories.
• Communicate ethical trading requirements throughout the supply base and raise awareness of best practices.
• Support the development of the Ethical Trading Strategy by providing insights and solutions from the field.
• Manage the new factory approval process, coordinating first‑contact communication, audit scheduling, documentation, and ensuring compliance with QARMA platform and updated audit standards.
• Remediate code non‑compliances, advise on re‑audits and next steps.
• Handle external and internal grievances via platforms such as Hamari Awaj, International Accord, unions and NGOs.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, factories, industry associations, trade unions, NGOs and government bodies to share best practices and identify emerging issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ethical trade monitoring, supply‑chain audits and human‑rights due diligence.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to raise awareness of ethical trading principles.
