Executive Chef

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad. The position blends Pakistan’s rich culinary heritage with international standards, ensuring outstanding food quality across all hotel outlets, banquets and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Build a strong culinary culture that connects local heritage with global standards.
• Ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation and compliance with international culinary standards.
• Lead, coach and develop a multicultural culinary team through training and mentoring.
• Create innovative menus while managing food cost, hygiene standards and operational efficiency.
• Partner with the Food & Beverage leadership team to design distinctive culinary events.
• Analyze kitchen performance metrics, manage budgets and make data‑driven decisions to optimise profitability.
• Oversee food safety, sanitation and hygiene protocols, ensuring full HACCP and local health‑regulation compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of culinary experience, including executive chef experience in a luxury hotel or large‑scale hospitality operation.
• Proven ability to lead, train and develop multicultural culinary teams.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching talent.
• Excellent knowledge of international cuisine, food safety standards and cost management.
• Creative mindset committed to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
