Executive Engineer – Maintenance Operations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Executive Engineer to lead maintenance operations across our branch network. The role focuses on ensuring reliable performance of engineering systems, utility equipment, and facility infrastructure while minimizing downtime and supporting operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage maintenance activities across all branches to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Lead branch maintenance teams covering electrical, HVAC, utility, and generator technicians.
• Oversee inspection, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, chillers, ovens, generators, compressors, electrical panels and related equipment.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and utility systems.
• Handle corrective maintenance and emergency breakdowns to reduce disruptions.
• Resolve engineering and maintenance complaints within defined timelines.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Coordinate shutdown planning, spare‑parts availability, and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, equipment history and complaint logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs and food‑safe maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Engineering.

Required profile

• BSc/BE in Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably in Food, FMCG, Retail, Hospitality or Industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary maintenance teams.
