Executive Network Operations – City Exchange

About the role

PTCL Group is seeking an Executive Network Operations professional to manage and optimise the City Exchange network in Peshawar. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability of TDM exchanges, DSLAMs, and related infrastructure while supporting the company’s digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor TDM, MSAG/MSAN, and DSLAM equipment, coordinating power, hardware and optical fiber issues.
• Perform routine network health checks, including battery backup, ring audits, optical power levels and bandwidth utilisation.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead incident response for network faults and security breaches, ensuring rapid resolution.
• Oversee HSE compliance during vendor works and on‑site activities.
• Execute network optimisation and port expansions according to customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Networking or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in telecom network operations.
• Strong technical competency in TDM, NG‑NGPON, switches and basic electricity.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
