Executive Paint Shop – Tractor Body

About the role

The Executive – Paint Shop is responsible for supporting and monitoring paint shop operations for tractor body production, ensuring adherence to painting processes, quality standards, safety requirements, and equipment maintenance practices to achieve consistent product quality and efficient operations. The role involves overseeing paint application methods, electrostatic systems, and ensuring timely resolution of paint‑related issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with paint shop processes, paint application methods, electrostatic painting systems, and defined process parameters.
• Inspect painted tractor bodies using standard tools, identify defects or process deviations, and initiate corrective actions.
• Support preventive maintenance and proper functioning of paint shop machinery, tools, equipment, and fixtures to minimise disruptions.
• Ensure safe operation of electrostatic painting equipment and adherence to safety procedures.
• Coordinate with senior team members to troubleshoot paint defects, equipment issues, and process‑related problems, maintaining records of actions taken.
• Monitor paint and chemical consumption, pre‑treatment parameters, and other process inputs to ensure proper utilisation and consistency.
• Support continuous improvement, quality, and safety initiatives within the Paint Shop, including on‑the‑job guidance and training for painting staff.

Required profile

• DAE (Chemical), B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, or a relevant qualification from an HEC‑recognised institution.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/assembly operations, preferably in a plant environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Electrostatic Painting Systems.
• Knowledge of paint shop processes and quality inspection.
• Understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
