Executive Taxation Specialist

About the role
We are seeking an Executive Taxation specialist to lead our tax compliance function. The role involves preparing and filing tax returns, managing audits, and ensuring adherence to Federal Board of Revenue regulations. You will act as the primary liaison with tax authorities and external consultants.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns, sales tax and withholding tax within deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
- Prepare for and manage tax audits by compiling necessary data.
- Represent the organization during audits.
- Maintain organized records of tax filings, payments and correspondence.
- Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with external consultants for complex tax issues.
Required profile
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax accounting or finance.
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
