Executive – Transport & Fiber Operations

About the role

PTCL Group is seeking an Executive to lead transport and fiber operations across four key exchanges in Lahore, including Garden Town, Data Center, Faisal Town and Gulberg. The role focuses on maintaining metro, metro‑access and carrier networks while ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance to restore cut cables within SLA/KPIs.
• Execute preventive maintenance, including PMR of aerial and underground routes, replacement of faulty joints, and relocation of network assets before mega‑projects.
• Prepare BOQs, submit p‑deposit bills, and manage vehicle and equipment repairs.
• Coordinate with civic agencies, hangers, static guards, and patrolling agencies to minimise cable cuts.
• Maintain duty charts, supervise staff, and ensure MTTR stays below four hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecom, Computer or Software Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in network operations or fiber transport.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and innovative thinking abilities.
