Executive/Senior Manager Internal Audit

About the role

The Executive/Senior Manager Internal Audit will independently lead and supervise audits of Easypaisa and branchless banking functions. Reporting to the Audit Head of Digital Financial Services & Analytics, the role ensures comprehensive coverage of the audit universe and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Head in preparing the audit universe, risk assessment, and annual audit plan.
• Plan, execute, and report audit assignments in line with internal audit methodology.
• Document findings, draft audit reports, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Engage with stakeholders to discuss audit results and monitor corrective actions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the control environment.
• Provide guidance to audit staff and auditees on critical audit areas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit within banking or fintech environments.
• Strong understanding of branchless banking operations and digital financial services.
• Ability to lead audit teams and manage complex audit projects.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for reporting to senior management and board committees.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
