Experienced Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Applied Aquaproducts Services is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to strengthen its finance team in Lahore. The role focuses on financial reporting, tax compliance, and the accurate processing of payable and receivable transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Maintain the general ledger by recording and reconciling all financial entries.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local and national regulations.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to enter, track, and report financial data.
• Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations to resolve discrepancies.
• Generate detailed financial reports using Excel to support budgeting and planning.
• Monitor expenses and revenues, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist auditors by providing required documentation and information.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Strong background in accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
