Expert OSS Planning & Architecture

About the role

The Expert OSS Planning & Architecture role is responsible for overseeing the operation, support and strategic planning of OSS, EMS, automation and service‑desk platforms across the organization. Reporting to the Manager OSS, the specialist ensures smooth platform transformation, cost efficiency and adoption of emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of OSS, EMS, Service Desk, OWS and automation platforms.
• Define device strategy and oversee transformation of Service Desk platforms.
• Provide functional technology support, including Power Automate and Office 365 tools.
• Develop proposals to improve cost efficiencies and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with suppliers, partners, sourcing and procurement teams to meet strategic objectives.
• Explore emerging technologies for potential adoption and modernization.
• Plan innovative solutions to meet fast‑paced organizational requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecom, Computer Science, AI or Data Science.
• 4+ years of experience in NOC and OSS environments within a telecom setting.
• Proven track record of deploying OSS, network and service‑desk platforms from design to operational handover.
• Strong understanding of IP, IT, cloud networks and related standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based and on‑prem ITSM/Digital Workflow platforms (ServiceNow, Atlassian).
• Full‑stack development skills (Python, Node.js, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, ASP.NET).
• DevOps expertise (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Tanzu, public cloud environments).
• Microsoft Power Automate and n8n workflow automation.
• Office 365 Suite including Copilot.
• AI engineering, data science tools (Claude, AI frameworks).
• Knowledge of FinTech solutions, APM and related technologies.
