Export Sales Executive – Karachi

About the role

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking a passionate Export Sales Executive to join its commercial team in Karachi. You will be responsible for building and nurturing customer relationships, driving new business, and promoting MSC’s value‑added services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while acquiring new business through strategic outreach.
• Develop a strong market network in Karachi to monitor trends, competition, and high‑value opportunities.
• Provide regular sales activity updates and market insights for management decision‑making.
• Identify and secure profitable business, promoting Value‑Added Services and premium freight opportunities.
• Monitor special equipment availability and optimise container utilisation.
• Ensure smooth operations in the absence of the Team Lead.
• Promote MyMSC.com and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies in coordination with the Sales Manager.
• Conduct market analysis, collect customer feedback, and prepare performance reports.
• Represent MSC at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a reputable business institute.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in the shipping industry.
• Excellent communication and business writing skills.
• Proven ability in strategic and consultative selling, account management, and pricing negotiation.
• Strong market knowledge with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of supporting team goals while driving individual performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with internal systems such as OVA.
• Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting.
