Family Doctor – Mobile Clinic, Qambar Shahdadkot

About the role

Normeca International AS is running a mobile multi-diagnostic clinic project in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank and the Government of Pakistan. The project uses fully equipped mobile clinics in large trailers to deliver general diagnostic services and minor surgical procedures to communities in the KPK and Sindh regions. It is looking for a compassionate, experienced Family Doctor / General Practitioner to work in Qambar Shahdadkot, Sindh, providing care from preventive care through diagnosis and treatment. The post is full time and requires willingness to work in non-standard conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Carry out routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunizations and screening tests.
• Develop and manage personalized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on health management and disease prevention.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and maintain accurate patient records.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice as a Family Doctor.
• Proven experience as a Family Doctor.
• Strong knowledge of primary care principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and within a team.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach; English is an advantage.
