Fashion Designer

About the role

Naayle Garments, a leading knitwear manufacturer in Karachi, is seeking a full‑time Fashion Designer to create and develop garment concepts for men, women and children. The role focuses on designing comfortable, stylish collections that meet market demands and align with the company’s brand.

Key responsibilities

• Design apparel collections, selecting appropriate fabrics, trims and embroidery details.
• Create technical sketches, spec sheets and clear design documentation.
• Collaborate with pattern makers and production teams to develop samples and oversee fittings.
• Work closely with merchandising, quality and production departments to ensure designs are aesthetically appealing, cost‑effective and manufacturable.
• Monitor fashion trends, research global markets and contribute ideas for seasonal ranges and innovation projects.

Required profile

• Strong fashion design background with a focus on commercially viable, trend‑aware collections.
• Good knowledge of textiles, especially knit structures, fabric performance and trims.
• Experience in fitting processes, sample reviews and communicating adjustments.
• Embroidery skills for decorative detailing on knit garments.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field; prior apparel or knitwear experience is a plus.
