Finance Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Associate to join Cloudelligent’s finance team in Islamabad. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations and contributes to strategic financial initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute core accounting functions including billing, payroll, AR, AP, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory tracking and revenue recognition.
• Post transactions, reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare, update and analyse financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with audits, tax filings and financial reviews by compiling required data.
• Respond to internal and external financial inquiries with clear insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning through data analysis.
• Document and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics (Master’s/MBA a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proactive, self‑driven and able to manage multiple priorities.
