Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director (CFO) will lead the finance function for GSK in Pakistan, providing strong financial stewardship, governance and strategic partnership with senior leadership. The role is responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance and enabling data‑driven decision‑making to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function in‑country, ensuring financial stewardship, governance and strategic business partnering with the GM and leadership team.
• Drive financial performance, compliance and informed decision‑making to support business growth.
• Manage financial reporting processes and provide finance partnering support to Pakistan.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation through bold investment decisions.
• Partner across the enterprise to support new product launches from business case development to execution.
• Drive enterprise risk management, scenario planning and business continuity.
• Lead strategic portfolio, investment and capital allocation decisions.
• Champion finance transformation, simplification and data‑driven decision making.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, capital management and working capital performance.
• Drive productivity, cost optimisation and value creation initiatives for double‑digit growth.
• Provide statutory responsibilities as a Board member, overseeing commercial, manufacturing sites and hub office.
• Support commercial teams with ROI, pricing, tenders and working capital management.
• Manage planning, P&L analysis and alignment of assumptions and risks.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Lead financial process design, audit, reporting and build high‑performing finance teams.
• Engage with auditors, regulators, banking partners and external stakeholders on financial and governance matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions at senior level, preferably as CFO or Finance Director.
• Experience serving on a Board of Directors and overseeing multiple business units.
• Strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and P&L management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive investment decisions, risk management and business continuity.
• Experience in finance transformation, simplification and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to partner with commercial and operational teams to support strategy execution.
• Knowledge of statutory, tax and regulatory compliance in Pakistan.
