Finance Intern

About the role

Avanceon is looking for a motivated Finance Intern to support its finance team. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to financial operations, accounting processes, and administrative tasks within a multinational automation and energy‑management company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial documents such as invoices, receipts, bills, and payment records.
• Maintain and update financial databases, filing systems, and records.
• Support processing and tracking of incoming and outgoing payments under supervision.
• Review financial records for accuracy and completeness.
• Help with account reconciliations and internal audit activities.
• Report discrepancies to the supervisor and respond to customer or vendor inquiries.
• Contribute to weekly, monthly, or quarterly financial reports.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP (advantageous).
