Finance/Import Officer

About the role

Tera Generation Solutions (PVT) LTD is looking for a Finance/Import Officer based in Lahore to support its finance operations and coordinate import-related documentation and transactions. The role keeps financial records accurate and ensures import processes are organized, timely and compliant with company procedures and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, payment records, ledgers and supporting financial documentation.
• Coordinate import orders and shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, banks and internal teams.
• Prepare and verify import documents such as purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, shipping documents and clearance papers.
• Track shipment status, delivery schedules, duties and other import costs, and flag delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records for audits and ensure transactions follow internal controls and Pakistani financial and import requirements.
• Support month-end closing and provide accurate information to management and external service providers.

Required profile

• Knowledge of accounts and finance, with ability to prepare invoices, vouchers, payment schedules, expense summaries and clear reports.
• Practical understanding of import documentation, shipping processes, freight coordination and customs-clearance paperwork.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to balance routine accounting work with import coordination in a deadline-driven office.
• Clear written and spoken English, with effective international communication.

Required skills

• Good Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering and financial trackers; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
• Reporting and analytical skills.
• Effective follow-up, prioritization and problem-solving across multiple transactions and shipment deadlines.
