About the role
This full‑time remote position combines financial accounting and data entry tasks for a travel services company. The role is suited for candidates with 1‑2 years of experience looking to apply their bookkeeping and VAT calculation skills.
Key responsibilities
- Book‑keeping: enter invoices and receipts into accounting software and Excel.
- Calculate monthly VAT payable.
- Perform bank reconciliation checks.
- Review data for errors, missing pages or information and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry.
- Extract online data from various sources and insert it into spreadsheets.
- Verify data integrity by comparing with source documents.
- Provide online tests to candidates and record results in spreadsheets.
- Complete additional assigned tasks as required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good typing speed (40‑60 wpm).
- Strong command of English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
