Financial Management Specialist

About the role

The Financial Management Specialist will be based on‑site in Faisalabad and will support NDC’s national and international development projects. The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and project budgets.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal and external audits.
• Provide financial insights to project teams, assess risks and recommend cost‑efficiency measures.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls and donor guidelines.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial policies and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• Professional certification such as MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Experience with development projects, consulting firms or funding agencies (e.g., World Bank, ADB) is preferred.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with financial software and accounting systems.
• Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis.
