Forex & Trading Risk Analyst (MT4/MT5 Manager)

About the role

A Saint Lucia-based forex brokerage operating in Lahore, Pakistan, is hiring an experienced Forex & Trading Risk Analyst (MT4/MT5 Manager) to set up and run the risk management framework for a new independent forex business. The Risk Manager works closely with senior management, compliance, finance, operations and technology teams so the brokerage stays within its approved risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build the risk framework and prepare for pre-launch
• Manage hybrid A-book/B-book risk
• Monitor market risk and exposure
• Handle hedging risk and counterparty exposure
• Manage margin, leverage and liquidation risk
• Run stress tests and scenario analysis
• Oversee trading surveillance and abnormal activity
• Produce risk reports and support governance
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams

Required profile

• Typically 3-5+ years of experience in market risk, forex or CFD brokerage risk management, or a comparable financial-services role
• Demonstrable experience managing or designing risk controls for a retail forex or CFD brokerage
• Ability to build policies and procedures from the ground up in a pre-launch environment

Required skills

• Strong understanding of hybrid A-book/B-book execution models and the risks of internalisation and external hedging
• Exposure monitoring, position limits, hedging policies and concentration-risk management
• Developing stress tests, scenario analysis, risk dashboards and management reports
