Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Parker Russell's Lahore office is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for its UAE-based project. The role supports strategic financial planning, budgeting and performance management, and plays a key part in finance transformation initiatives. It covers advanced financial analysis, business planning, Oracle ERP optimization, internal controls and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting and business planning: lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, coordinate with subsidiaries, partner with finance managers on financial plans, support scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis, and monitor budget variances.
• Financial analysis and performance management: build and maintain financial models, analyze overheads, capex and investment performance, prepare monthly management reports and dashboards, and give ad-hoc analysis to senior leadership.
• Oracle ERP transformation: act as Finance Project Lead for Oracle ERP / Oracle Cloud (Fusion) projects, work with IT, subsidiaries and consultants on system enhancements, drive automation and standardization, and support change management and training.
• Internal controls, risk and governance: review and strengthen financial controls, coordinate with internal auditors, and help implement corrective actions with Group Risk, Governance & Control.
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner with HR, IT, Procurement and others, support business cases and evaluate projects and investments.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A or financial analysis.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials / Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) or similar enterprise finance systems.
• Prior involvement in finance transformation, system implementation or process improvement projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; professional qualification (CPA, CA, CMA, MBA Finance) preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Hyperion, Smart View or EPM Planning and Budgeting (an advantage).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a matrix organization.
