About the role

Ambidex Inc., a US‑based data and AI consulting firm, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to design, build and maintain modern web applications, APIs and AI‑enabled business solutions for its international clients. The role works on a hybrid schedule from Lahore, Karachi or Islamabad while aligning with US Central Time working hours.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering, business, design and US‑based teams to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design and develop responsive web applications, internal platforms and customer‑facing solutions.
Build backend APIs, business logic, database integrations and third‑party service integrations.
Create reusable frontend components using modern UI frameworks.
Apply software engineering best practices, data structures, algorithms and design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability.
Optimize performance, reliability, security and conduct testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
Document architecture, APIs, technical decisions and deployment processes.
Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity while reviewing generated code.

Required profile

Minimum 3 years of full‑stack web application development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL.
Frontend: React, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Material UI.
Backend: FastAPI, REST APIs, JWT/OAuth, API integration.
Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Version control: Git.
Cloud & DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Azure, GCP.
AI: OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, Vector Databases, AI Agents, Tool Calling, MCP.
Automation: n8n, Make, Zapier.
AI‑assisted development tools: ChatGPT, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot.
