Full Stack Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Full Stack Engineer to join a fast‑moving startup environment. The role is remote, but the candidate will be based in Lahore and will work closely with a small, dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Django‑based backend services.
• Build responsive front‑end features using React and Next.js.
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as Stripe, Stripe Connect, EasyPost, and other services.
• Implement asynchronous processing with Celery and Redis.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS ECS/Fargate.
• Write comprehensive tests and ensure high code quality.
• Communicate blockers promptly and collaborate on prioritising high‑impact work.

Required profile

• Experience in a startup or small, fast‑moving team.
• Strong Django backend expertise.
• Proven ability to integrate and work with external APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Stripe and preferably Stripe Connect.
• Thoughtful, critical thinker who asks good questions.
• Self‑starter who takes ownership and tests work thoroughly.
• Detail‑oriented, writes clean, maintainable code.
• Uses AI tools to boost productivity without over‑reliance.
