Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our remote team and help build scalable web applications. The role involves working on both backend and frontend components, integrating third‑party services, and delivering high‑quality code in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Django‑based backend services.
• Implement GraphQL APIs using Strawberry GraphQL.
• Integrate third‑party APIs such as Stripe, Stripe Connect, and EasyPost.
• Build responsive front‑end features with React and Next.js.
• Manage data storage and queries with PostgreSQL.
• Handle asynchronous tasks using Celery and Redis.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS ECS/Fargate.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.

Required profile

• Experience working in startups or small, fast‑moving teams.
• Strong Django backend expertise.
• Proven ability to integrate and work with external APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with Stripe and preferably Stripe Connect.
• Proactive problem‑solver who asks thoughtful questions and owns delivery.
• Detail‑oriented, writes clean and maintainable code, and tests work thoroughly.
• Communicates blockers quickly and prioritises high‑impact tasks.
• Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity without over‑reliance.
