GenAI Engineer

About the role

HR Navigator is hiring a GenAI Engineer for an onsite position in DHA Phase 3, Lahore, working 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The engineer builds and optimizes AI-driven systems and automates the end-to-end software development lifecycle, turning client requirements into structured workflows and enabling intelligent automation across development, QA and deployment. The salary range is PKR 200,000 to 300,000.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, test and improve AI-driven systems and build evaluation frameworks to assess and improve AI performance
• Research and integrate state-of-the-art open-source AI models
• Develop AI-powered automation that converts client requirements into epics, tasks and workflows, and automates effort estimation, task breakdown and team assignment
• Design and implement RAG pipelines, agentic workflows and prompt engineering solutions
• Build data pipelines and integration architectures, and develop and deploy production-grade AI solutions
• Work with LLMs and vector databases, and implement hallucination detection mechanisms
• Integrate AI systems with the existing stack (Java backend, JavaScript MUI frontend, MongoDB and MySQL, cloud deployment)
• Ensure automation across the development lifecycle, including QA, staging and deployment

Required profile

• BS in Data Sciences from a reputable university
• 4 to 6+ years of professional experience, with 2 to 3+ years in AI/ML
• Experience in predictive modeling and AI system design
• Proven ability to deliver AI solutions in production environments
• Strong ownership, problem-solving and communication skills; able to work in fast-paced, product-driven environments

Required skills

• Python (knowledge of .NET is a plus)
• Strong SQL and relational and NoSQL databases
• LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and vector databases
• Debugging non-deterministic AI systems and building AI evaluation frameworks and hallucination detection
