General Manager - People Operations

About the role

The General Manager of People Operations will own the end‑to‑end systems that drive how Disrupt attracts, hires, supports and retains its talent. This senior leader works both on the ground – fixing stalled hiring pipelines, resolving facilities issues, and handling HR operational complaints – and at the strategic level, designing a scalable people operating model across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Talent Acquisition as a systematic engine, overseeing sourcing, funnel conversion, time‑to‑fill, hiring manager experience and cost‑per‑hire metrics; intervene personally in critical or stuck searches.
• Own the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, documentation, contracts, exits and policy administration – and ensure seamless integration with soft facilities such as cafeteria, transport and workplace amenities.
• Manage workplace support across Karachi and Dubai, including office facilities, vendor relationships, space planning and day‑to‑day standards.
• Oversee physical security and safety, implementing proactive access control, incident response and safety protocols.
• Design and implement 360‑degree performance management and people‑first frameworks, driving workforce development with an AI‑first agenda.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in HR, People Operations or a comparable function.
• Hands‑on mindset with a track record of stepping into operational challenges and delivering results.
• Strategic thinker capable of designing scalable people models across multiple locations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence hiring managers, facilities teams and external vendors.

Required skills

• Understanding of security, safety and compliance standards.
